Palestinian Awareness Day

Students at 91吃瓜网 show a passion for human rights issues and protecting the state of our Ummah. On the suggestion of our students, we organised a day in the previous week when students were able to wear Palestinian colours and put on lovely abayas and thobes, provided they donate a gold coin.

MashaAllah, the students were very generous with their donations. May Allah reward all who donated and may He place barakat in the donations for our Palestinian brothers and sisters.

Throughout the week, students and teachers were also encouraged to post duas and messages on a notice board outside the TEAMS building. The notice board was full of meaningful messages of support, flags, drawings and duas.

Hopefully we are able to continue to raise awareness and support for ongoing issues.

    Assistant Head of Secondary Pastoral Care

    Ms Fatema Faoual joined Alsiraat College in 2016. She is passionate about instilling the love of lifelong learning in our students.

    Her passion to connect learning to the real world encourages her students to develop essential skills and knowledge needed to become active and informed citizens in society.

    Prior to teaching, she worked in corporate organisations for over 10 years in a range of roles such as Regional Manager, Recruitment Manager and Trainer. Ms Fatema is dedicated to providing a safe, supportive and challenging environment that allows every student to achieve their personal best.
